My Mulch Brings All The Birds To The Yard

*sigh*

Pretty sure this is a mourning dove egg. It’s only a foot or two from the feeder, the “nest” is barely a scuffle in the mulch, and a squirrel or something will undoubtedly eat it in the next ten minutes. (I’m a little surprised it lasted long enough for me to see it!)

Doves are not good at this.

In my neck of the woods we call those dives “hawk food”. The breed 2-3 times a year an make their nests in the damnest places. The latest one is in a hanging planter that gets sprayed by the drip system twice a day. It may not be the brightest bird on the block, but it’s te cleanest!

  • I have been browsing online greater than three hours today, yet I by no means found any interesting article like yours. It is lovely worth enough for me. In my view, if all site owners and bloggers made just right content material as you probably did, the web might be much more helpful than ever before.
